| Detail
of Replica Medieval Trestle Table showing the support pedestals with
their hand cut 'Early English' mouldings, including what is technically
termed as a water-holding base, occassionaly seen on crown posts in
the roofs of buildings erected during the thirteenth century. Also note
the carved masks at the end of the support cross bars, which a diligent
observer may spot running along the parapets of some medieval churches.
Incidentaly, the oak settle in the background was made by us and we
also laid the old  terracota floor on which they stand. |
