were made from carefully selected reclaimed old floorboards, all nailed
together using re-forged old fashioned nails. The drawer base planks
have irregular gaps between them, suggesting shrinkage 'over the centuries'.
Note the 'later replaced' drawer runners just visible inside the cupboard
frame. |
