| REPLICA 17TH CENTURY JOINED CHEST, handmade from kiln dried English oak. Based on an original from Connecticut, America and adapted to hide a modern central heating radiator. Constructed using the frame and panel method, with drawer-bored and pegged mortice and tenon joints. Note the black painted applied split-turnings and hand cut mouldings. Early American furniture, clearly assigned to a specific region, is highly valuable and prices often exceed £100,000! |
