Doors, handmade entirely
from reclaimed old floorboards and installed in a thatched Hampshire
cottage. The larger of the two doors (leading to an en-suite bathroom)
replaces a softwood painted frame and is fitted complete with hand-forged
hinges, latch and handmade nails. It is impossible to produce this look
from new oak and the doors featured here cannot be
compared to the plethora of horrible machine made so called 'planked
oak cottage doors', available everywhere at cheap prices. |
