MEDIEVAL STYLE OLD OAK HANDMADE DOOR a |

The
threshold consists of a length of heavy angle (fixed to the oak uprights),
most of which is buried under the paving. This enables an almost unimpeded
transition from outside to inside, just as it would have been in the
16th century. The buried part of the angle has been treated against
          rust. |
