Old Oak Door Lock Box

Detail view of the old fashioned lock box, which conceals the insurance approved modern rim latch. The key acts as a handle and the front cover hinges at the top, to gain access. Fixings are reclaimed slot head screws, the heads of which we've filed to resemble old handmade screws. As with the door and frame, the wood used for the box was from an ancient oak beam.
